About this layer

Many RVers and van travelers spend a night in a store or casino parking lot between destinations. This layer maps the kinds of places that often allow it: Walmart, Cracker Barrel, Cabela's, Bass Pro Shops and casinos, from OpenStreetMap with data © OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL. It is a list of candidates, not permission.

OpenStreetMap does not record whether overnight parking is allowed, local rules change, and individual managers decide, so call ahead or ask inside before you settle in. Use it as a backup plan on a long drive, then add Rest Areas, Dump Stations and Showers to cover the rest of the night. Park considerately, stay one night and leave the spot clean.
