About this layer

When you are traveling, working remotely or living on the road, a reliable free Wi-Fi spot can save the day. This layer maps 11,208 places in the US that OpenStreetMap lists as offering free Wi-Fi, with data © OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL. That includes cafes, libraries, restaurants and public spaces.

Coverage is partial, so many places with Wi-Fi are not tagged, and some tagged ones may have changed. Use the layer to find a place to upload photos, download maps before heading into the backcountry, or take a call between camping trips. It pairs well with RV Dump Stations, Breweries and campgrounds for planning life on the road.
